Expanded Metal
Expanded metal is formed from one single piece of metal, with a process of stretching and slitting
(partially shearing) to form a continuous diamond shape mesh. The mesh can be shaped raised or flattened. Meshes can be as thin as foil or as weighty as heavy duty walkway, in a large range of decorative shaped meshes. There are no joins or welds, this makes expanded mesh ideal for forming, pressing and shearing. No material is lost in the manufacturing process and due to the angularity of the strands of mesh produced, both strength and rigidity are increased.
