Expanded metal is formed from one single piece of metal, with a process of stretching and slitting (partially shearing) to form a continuous diamond shaped mesh. The mesh can be supplied raised or flattened. Meshes can be a thin as foil or weighty as heavy duty walk way. There are no joins or welds, this makes expanded mesh ideal for forming, pressing and shearing.
